This ministry provides a meal for the family and friends following funeral services.

Catholic Daughters of America

The mission of this organization is to support the church community through the gifts of its members.  Membership is open to all Catholic women who are at least 18 years old.  Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM in the St. Brigid Room of the church annex.


Each church has a Pastoral Council, whose members are appointed at the discretion of the Pastor.  There is also a joint Finance Council that serves both churches; its members are also appointed.  The councils meet as needed, but at least quarterly.


This ministry is made up of volunteers who help to maintain the church grounds.


This ministry welcomes new members and hosts events that encourage fellowship in the parish community throughout the year.  Events include potlucks, receptions, and the annual Christmas party.  Hospitality meets after the 8:00 AM Mass on the first Friday of every month, followed by the First Friday Breakfast in the St. Brigid Room.  Parishioners from both parishes are always welcome to join!

Immaculate Conception Ladies Guild

The ICC Ladies Guild meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 PM in the church hall.  the mission of the Guild is to promote the spiritual welfare of its members, provide parish and community benevolent contributions, and provide scholarships to high school seniors active in CCD.

Knights of Columbus Council #6358

The founding principles of this fraternal organization are charity, unity, and fraternity.  Membership is open to all Catholic men who are at least 18 years old.  Knights meet at the KC Hall on Schertz Parkway.  Business meetings are every second Wednesday at 7:45 PM.  

Knights of Columbus Ladies' Auxiliary Council #6358

The Ladies Auxiliary Council 6358 is open to the wives, daughters, sisters, or mothers of a Knight.  The ladies strive to aid the Knights of Columbus Council's spirual and charitable growth.  The Auxiliary endeavors to enhance the social life of the entire family, promote good fellowship and love, perform selected works of charity, and assist the Council in their activities whenever possible to the best of their abilities.  Members meet on the first Tuesday of the months of January thorugh May at 6:30 PM at Mikulski Hall, 509 Schertz, Parkway.


The church library is located in the conference room across from the parish office.  Library materials are self-checkout and are to be returned in a timely manner.  Donations of gently-used, current books are welcomed.

Parish Festival

At both churches, the annual parish festival is the largest fundraiser of the year.  The Good Shepherd Festival is held on the first Sunday of May.  The Immaculate Conception Festival is held on the first Sunday of October.  Members help in planning, preparing the venues, manning the booths, and performing post-event clean-up. 

Youth Ministry - Jr. High Edge

This ministry offers weekly programs to teens in grades 6 - 8.

Youth Ministry - Life Teen

This ministry is open to teens in grades 9 - 12.  The group meets on Wednesdays from 7:00 - 8:30 PM unless announced otherwise.
